How quickly can I actually get an appointment?
Most new patients are seen within the same week of booking. We keep appointments open specifically for new patients so you don't wait months like at most Honolulu derm offices.
Do you accept my insurance?

Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?
Most of our patients do not need a referral. A small number of insurance plans require one, which is why we verify coverage before your visit.
What if I don't have insurance?
We see self-pay patients and will discuss transparent pricing before any treatment. Call us to ask about self-pay rates for your specific concern.
Will I see the actual dermatologist?
Dr. Tagai Musaev, our board-certified dermatologist, and Justin K. Maio, PA-C, both see patients. Both are board-certified professionals and every treatment plan is overseen by Dr. Tagai.
How long is a typical first visit?
Plan for 30 to 45 minutes for a first visit. This includes a full evaluation, discussion of treatment options, and any questions you have.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring your insurance card, a photo ID, and a list of any current medications or topical treatments you're using. You can complete your new patient paperwork online before your visit to save time.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We provide dermatological care for patients of all ages, including pediatric conditions like eczema, molluscum, and atopic dermatitis.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. You can manage your appointment through the online booking portal or call us directly.
Where are you located and is there parking?
